Dumbbell Log (“the App”) is designed to help you plan workouts, record training sessions, and review your progress. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
The App lets you create and store information such as workout plans, exercises, sets, weights, repetitions, dates, notes, rest-timer activity, and optional pose photos.
This information is stored on your device. When iCloud is available, workout data and pose photos may also be synchronized through your private iCloud database so they can appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
Camera and photo access are optional. The App uses them only when you choose to capture or select a pose photo for an exercise. The App does not scan your photo library or upload photos to a developer-operated server.
Pose photos you add are stored with the App’s data on your device and may be synchronized through your private iCloud database.
The App uses Apple’s CloudKit service to synchronize data through the private database associated with your Apple Account. The developer cannot browse your private iCloud database. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
If you grant permission, the App may use local notifications and Live Activities to show rest-timer status and notify you when a rest period ends. These features do not send your workout information to the developer.
The App does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs. The developer does not sell your personal information.
The developer does not collect or share your workout records or pose photos. Data may be processed by Apple when you use iCloud, App Store, or other iOS platform services, according to Apple’s policies.
You can edit or delete workout records and pose photos within the App. Deleting the App removes its locally stored data from that device. Data previously synchronized with iCloud may remain in your iCloud account or sync to another device according to Apple’s iCloud behavior and your settings.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the App’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
