Welcome to the support center for Days.
Days is a simple countdown app for the dates that matter to you. Create events, follow upcoming and past dates, add a personal background, and keep a favorite date visible with Home Screen widgets.
How are dates counted?
Upcoming dates appear as D-N, today appears as D-DAY, and past dates appear as D+N. Days uses calendar dates rather than elapsed 24-hour periods.
Can an event repeat every year? Yes. Turn on yearly repeat while creating or editing an event. Days will count down to the next occurrence of that month and day.
How do I choose what appears in the widget? Open an event in Days and set it as the widget event. You can also edit an individual widget from the Home Screen and choose a different event for that widget.
Why has my widget not updated yet? Open Days once after making a change, then wait briefly for iOS to refresh the widget. If it still looks outdated, remove the widget and add it again.
Does Days sync between my devices? When you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is available for Days, event data syncs through your private iCloud database. Otherwise, Days continues to store data locally on the device.
How are background photos used? Days receives only the photo you choose with the system photo picker. The selected image is resized and stored with your event so it can also appear in the widget.
